The newly released Korean series Chicken Nugget, properly titled due to its simple and absurd plot, is directed by Lee Byeong-heon. A girl named Min-ah decides, for whatever crazy reason, to enter a mysterious purple cabinet and push an equally mystery button (wasn’t she ever taught not to just press anything?). This is the essence of the craziness we can expect from the show, as shown in the less than minute clip. She turns into a chicken nugget as a consequence. As the YouTube video’s description so wryly puts it, “The plot ‘chickens,'” chaos and humor follow.
